Our 61" Valentine

Cars

So today has been a long day. I've been working with fiberglass all day which makes for a very itchy situation. Debbie actually beat me home today which is a nice change for her. (I still had to make dinner though) :) The beatle got a flat today, which I took as a sign from the car gods that we need to get a new car. If you don't know how I feel about the bug, let me fill you in.

List of bugs with the Bug...

1. Ridiculously large windows. At first you think, "Oooh cool windows!" then you realize the there is virtually no way to block the sun from burning your eyeballs out.
2. Ridiculously small visor. See #1.
3. Trunk space. Rather, I should say, "What on earth did they possibly think would fit in here? space." I tried putting a golf ball in it once, the lid wouldn't close. The only thing smaller than the trunk is the sun visor.
4. Leather seats. We live in Houston a.k.a. Mother Nature's Year Round Sauna. Sweat + Leather = :(
5. Blind spots. I think the VW engineers decided to reallocate all the trunk space and put it into the blind spots. I changed lanes the other day and ran into a Super Walmart.

I could go on all day, but these are the most annoying that I could think of from the top of my head. Anyways, we may be selling the bug soon, so if you know of anyone interested, let us know!
